I am excited to have the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua this summer with SuNica to help them make disciples of Jesus through clean water, education, and mentorship!
A team of 19 friends and I will be traveling from Vintage Church in early June 2024 to assist SuNica's mission of building up the people and communities of Nicaragua through their sustainable water initiatives and kid-focused programs. During my week long mission trip, I'm excited to participate in after school discipleship programs, be a part of building their next water project, and experience Nicaragua's vibrant natural and cultural beauty.
I need your help to make it to Nicaragua! Please prayerfully commit to helping me in the following ways.
(1) PRAY! Pray for the success, safety, and effectiveness of my team. Pray for our preparation for Nicaragua (financially, physically, spiritually, and mentally).
(2) SPREAD THE WORD! I would greatly appreciate it if you could spread word of this trip and SuNica's work to anyone you think of.
(3) GIVE! The cost of my trip is $2,050 (the majority of which being travel). I am seeking gifts of $500, $250, $100, $50, or any amount you are comfortable with. Please note, any amount I receive above my goal will go to support other team members and our projects on the trip. All support and gifts to SuNica are tax deductible and non-refundable. SuNica is building up people and communities through their sustainable water initiatives and kid-focused programs. During my week long mission trip, I'm excited to participate in after school discipleship programs, be a part of building their next water or bathroom project, and experience Nicaragua's vibrant natural and cultural beauty. I would be very thankful for your prayers and for any donations toward helping me make this mission trip a reality. While on mission with SuNica, I'll also:
- Build new friendships with SuNica's Nicaraguan staff
- Visit the diverse communities where SuNica is serving
- See material poverty in a very real way, and gain a better understanding of how spiritual poverty is an equal contributor to human brokenness
- Meet, interact with, and live out the Gospel with the children participating in SuNica's Discipleship and Education programs
- Lend a hand with one of the projects, alongside SuNica staff and the people of that community
